Position Summary
Position Summary
Provides sales support to assist with marketing and investor servicing efforts for the Carlyle Global Wealth ("CGW") business. This will include creation of marketing collateral, fulfilling client due diligence requests, creating customized investor presentations and tracking CGW sales reports. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate Carlyle's product differentiators, help IR professionals raise additional capital and service Carlyle's existing investors.
This position will work cross-functionally with members from Carlyle's broader IR team, including Product Specialists, Client Relationship Managers and various Fund Management operations teams who service Carlyle funds.
Lastly, this position will include additional responsibilities for supporting various fundraising processes, such as helping to manage investor pipelines, running sales reports, preparing internal fundraising/budgeting reports and helping with ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Project Management Assistance
• Assist in the on-going management of fundraising efforts and investor relations responsibilities for various Carlyle funds offered through CGW.
• Support CGW Sales by completing ad hoc projects and investor requests and assisting with coordination of roadshow meetings (or virtual roadshows) and materials.
• Draft marketing collateral, including flipbooks, RFPs, standard DDQ responses and other required marketing materials, working closely with CGW Client Relationship Managers, Internal Sales Desk, the broader Investor Relations team, and Fund Management throughout the process.
• Guide investors and IR professionals through fund due diligence processes, including completing diligence requests (i.e. DDQs, RFPs, RFIs), handling relevant follow-up, coordinating investment and operational due diligence meetings and liaising with various teams within the organization (i.e. Fund Management, Compliance, etc.) to produce relevant materials.
• Support existing investor relations and servicing efforts through the coordination of regular update calls, facilitating of reporting and presentation materials and handling regular and ad-hoc investor requests.
• Collaborate with other Project Managers / Product Specialists throughout the firm with regards to a fundraising process to ensure full coordination and implement best practices and lessons learned from prior fundraising initiatives.
• Update broader CGW and Investor Relations teams on key developments with respect to fundraise process, portfolio updates and other relevant business- specific facets.
• Work on cross platform projects (both for internal and external use), which may include strategic partnership proposals, internal management presentations, senior management talking points, etc.
Global Fundraising Support
• Work with other Project Managers / Product Specialists and Product Development team to identify ways in which Carlyle can enhance its fundraising process through the introduction of new tools, strategies and information.
• Attend internal and external fundraising meetings, as appropriate, and help in the preparation of materials including prospect generation, preparing presentations and tracking lists.
• Work with Investor Relations team regarding the development of budgets, fundraising projections, commitment reviews, post-close analyses, and other projects.

Education & Certificates
• Bachelor's degree required
• Series 7/82 and 63 preferred
Professional Experience
• 1-2 years of experience in a financial/wealth management/business role or similar industry.
• Experience within a private banking platform, working with retail investors and 40-Act funds, a plus.
• Experience with all areas of the fundraising and client cultivation process including implementing process improvements and creating process documentation.
• Knowledge of alternative products a plus.
• Customer/Investor/Client Relations experience a plus.

Benefits/Compensation
The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $105,000.

Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
